Omni Prep: Omni Prep is a polishing material that shears the microscopic polyethylene hairs and polishes better than other materials. Skis polished with Omni Prep have no hairs, while skis polished with fibertex produce thousands of fine hairs which are only visible with a good light source and a very high magnification. Available for both rotary and hand application. For best results hand Omni Prep after Rotary. Ski tuning guru Zach Caldwell said there is nothing like Omni Prep for final polishing. Polyethylene Corks: We recommend you use a different cork for different waxes. Rotary System: With the Universal Control Rod, brushes, Omni Prep and rotary corks can be changed by simply removing the handle. The Control Rod accepts both single and dual tools and only one Handle is required. The Handle and stainless steel Control Rod weigh only 180 grams. The Universal Handle reduces vibration by having the control rod engage two bearings. Rotary handle system. Handle and rotary control rods. Rotary Brushes: For finish brushing we recommend hand brushes, so the nylon is the most common rotary brush. Hand Brushes: Hand Brushes are available in nylon, horse hair and bronze. For best results hand brush after rotary brushing. Soft Groove Scrapers: The soft V2 groove scrapers will not damage the polyethylene base.Four different radii to accommodate different grooves. Hard Plastic Scraper: VT-PLS is made of a harder material than conventional scrapers and laser machined for the most precise accuracy. There are three different radii to make it easier to clean very hard wax from the groove which can not be removed with the soft scraper. Cobalt Scraper: Not shown in the picture. The best scraper for flattening your skis.
